Addison Maine

Local Artists

Our Town of Addison has some amazing local artists!

Don and Teresa Williams

Sea-Worthy

Sea-Worthy began when Don and Teresa moved to their retirement home in Down East, Maine. Their B&B, “Porto Luce”, (harbor light), had space for a studio – and so it began. Living in Addison on Eastern Harbor provides Sea-Worthy a never ending supply of driftwood. The “Bold Coast” also inspires local painters and artists to use Sea-Worthy for driftwood frames and complementary driftwood furniture for presenting their art. Stone lamps, fine crafted bowls, boxes, sea glass sculptures and more.

Ken Graslie

Ken began his art studies at the New England School of Art as an illustration major, graduating in 1970. He continued his studies with a two year painting program, specializing in large format landscapes at Monserratt College of Art. Feeling the need to explore the vast open space of America's West, he moved to New Mexico. This opened up new interpretations in his painting style where light and color combine to capture the grandeur of our Southwest.

Upon returning to Boston, his work was shown in a number of galleries in the city and throughout southern New England. For the next 25 years, he and his wife, Janis, worked and spent time raising a family and painting part time.
In 2000, Ken was able to take early retirement and move to Addison, Maine. The natural beauty of our Down East coast has inspired his creativity once again.

Ken's paintings can be found in many private collections in Maine and throughout the country.
