Town Hall Rental

First, a $25 save the date deposit is required at the time of reservation, but don't worry, it will be credited toward the hall rental fee. Keep in mind that reservations cannot be made without this deposit, unless it's an event to raise funds for the town - then there are no deposit fees!

In case something comes up and you need to cancel the reservation, you can get your save the date deposit refunded by giving at least two weeks notice. But if the cancellation is made with less than two weeks notice, unfortunately, the deposit will not be returned.

Now, onto security deposits. For non-alcoholic events, the security deposit is $50, while for alcoholic events, it's $100. This deposit will be returned to you after the event as long as the hall is cleaned and no damage is done.

Lastly, a Certificate of Insurance for General Liability is required, and if alcohol is going to be consumed, Liquor Liability coverage is also needed with the Town of Addison listed as an additional insured on the Certificate. Don't forget to include the date of the event in the "Description of Operation/Location Box" on the Certificate. Additionally, if you plan on having liquor on the premises, you'll need to sign the "Release and Indemnification" form and complete the "Application for B.Y.O.B Function," which requires a $10 check to be sent to the State. Once approved, the State will send a letter of approval that the Town will need a copy of.
